No. Nearly everyone who books has never touched a wheel, a carving knife or a dye vat. Classes are built for a standing start.
Clothes you do not mind getting mucky, and closed shoes for the wood classes. We provide aprons. Indigo stains: it is part of the fun, but leave the white shirt at home.
Clay needs to dry, then it is glazed and fired twice. Your pieces are ready to collect about three weeks after your class, and we email you when they hit the shelf. Wood and textile pieces go home with you on the day.
Yes: book a seat with the recipient's name, or send a voucher and let them pick a date themselves.
Full refund up to a week before the class, or move to any later date free. Inside a week we refund if we can fill your seat, which we usually can.
